Connect With Ministries

This committee is made up of individuals of the congregation.  The Committee will organize, plan and promote the Benevolent Giving Monthly Missions of the Church.  They will further work to outreach into the community locally to identify opportunities and needs as an extension of love and the Gospel Message from the Immanuel Church.  They will encourage others to become involved in this effort. They meet bi-monthly, have an organizing Chairperson and a liaison to the Consistory. One example of involvement would be using the church sign as an outreach to the community. 

This committee is in charge of New Visitor packets, welcoming people, caring for those in the hospital, sick & shut-in and encouragement for one another.  This committee meets bi-monthly.

Liaison to Consistory: Carolyn Shumate

The Church Security Team evaluates the safety of the Church on multiple levels.  From survalence of the Church Property, to protection of those in attendance, to care and first aid in the event of an incident.  The Church Security Team is multi-layered and will look to care for the wellbeing of all life.

This board is made up of all the Sunday School teachers, including the part time teachers and subs, of Immanuel.  All of the teachers are encouraged to attend the quarterly meetings so as to discuss, prepare and implement as one body the programs of the Sunday school.  This year’s committee is as follows:

This committee is entrusted with the care and distribution of the Scholarship funds which are made available per the description of the fund.  This committee will solicit and decide the awarded amount given to those individuals which have properly applied. The leadership of this committee is commissioned by the Elders to be Trustees of the Scholarship Funds per the preset guidelines.

Trustees are Curt M., Ned M., & Carson Manger.

Liaison - Elders

The Women's Guild is comprised of all the women of Immanuel Church. Age is not a factor as all women are welcome and encouraged to attend the meetings and events that are held as part of this group.
